Anni Albers, student at the Bauhaus University, married to Josef Albers, teaching at the experimental Black Mountain College, one of the most influential textile designers of the 20th century. After being rejected from a glass workshop at the Bauhaus University, she took a weaving class.

Topological Field Space

a workshop by Paul Loh and Tobias Schwinn that examines spatial and geometric construct through a topological set of ‘glasses’; exploring property of connectivity and directionality which is outside the language of Euclidian geometry. Through Rhino scripts, we generated variation starting with basic ‘species’; using simple operation like folding / weaving / field bundling / mobius, looking for point of singularity within each successive generation of computational parameters”.
